Getting started

Enter a domain, URL, IPv4 or IPv6 address in the search field and press Analyze. Press / anywhere to focus the search field, or ⌘K / Ctrl+K to open the command palette.

Domains resolve to /domain/<domain> and addresses to /ip/<address>. Every report is generated on demand from public sources.

Domain analysis

Each report runs DNS, HTTP, certificate transparency, technology fingerprinting and IP intelligence lookups in parallel with strict timeouts.

If one source is unavailable, that section shows "Data unavailable" and the report is marked as partial — the rest of the analysis still completes.

API

The versioned JSON API mirrors the web report. Responses are cached for 60 seconds.

Rate limits

Anonymous usage is limited to 10 analyses per day per client. Pro accounts and API keys raise this limit and are coming next.

Data sources

DNS over HTTPS resolvers, public HTTP responses of the target, certificate transparency logs and public IP/ASN registries.

Confidence levels are shown for fingerprinted technologies — header evidence is treated as stronger than HTML body signatures.

Security

Input is validated and normalized before any lookup. Private, loopback, link-local, multicast and reserved ranges are rejected, as are internal hostnames such as localhost and *.internal.

Redirect chains are re-validated at every hop, requests carry hard timeouts, and target HTML is never executed — website previews render in a fully sandboxed frame.

FAQ

Is this a port scanner? No. Reversed World only observes data that a target publishes to the open internet.

Why is a section empty? The source was unavailable or the target does not publish that data.
